Street Interpolated Geocoding

The location of a building or home is approximated based on the address range that is assigned to a street segment. For example, for a street segment that includes house address numbers between 1-100, with EVEN numbered buildings on one side; ODD on the other; an address of 50 Main Street would be located near the mid-point of the street segment and on the side of the street with EVEN numbers.

Street interpolated geocoding differs from rooftop geocoding which seeks to place the location of a building directly at the latitude and longitude of the building centroid.
