Location-Allocation

Location-allocation refers to the process of identifying and assigning the most relevant locations using algorithms in a geographic information system (GIS). The objective is that the resources (e.g., a pharmacy) located in this way meet a set of service demands from a given set of points, such as a customer area located within a 5-minute radius.
