The Data and Software Specialist is driven by the sales growth of the company while having a constant concern for the quality of analysis and the work it performs. It is an autonomous person who likes to communicate his knowledge to customers and partners, and actively contributes to the success of Korem.
The Data and Software Specialist expands relationships with existing customers by directing and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow one or more assigned product lines. As a Product Sales Specialist, you will master the customer business needs to establish a technical and functional approach to address them. Through your analytical skills and your knowledge of GIS, geospatial analysis and processing of data, you will help the development of solutions to meet the specific needs of our customers and support them in their decision making process.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES SALES
Work on assigned leads or new opportunities for existing customers, autonomously or in collaboration with a sales manager.
Participate actively in the achievement of the assigned targets for profitable sales growth of partner’ product lines.
Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES TECHNICAL
Provide coaching and professional development to team member in order to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
Collaborate with Account Managers and Presales Engineers in the qualification of technical needs for existing customers and prospects.
Participate in the implementation of proof of concepts (POC) and products installation in a pre-sales context.
Lead demand-generating marketing activities (presentation, webcast, demonstration) for various products and solutions.
Write technical approaches, service proposals and evaluate the efforts associated with it.
Make recommendations for preferred products (software and data) based on existing clients and prospects’ needs.
Develop and define user requirements, analyze and document.
Participate in the implementation of service projects involving GIS analytical work and data processing.
Participate in the implementation of innovative projects to define the technological direction of the organization based on customer needs and market trends.
Works closely with the Customer Success team to ensure customer satisfaction and technical problems resolution.

Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Cartography, Computer Science, or related discipline.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in working with GIS tools and technologies.
Work experience in the application of geospatial solutions in one or more of the following: telecommunications, insurance, retail or utilities industry.
Understanding of issues and business problems and the use of geographic information systems (GIS) to develop geospatial intelligence solutions.
Demonstrate expertise with information management services, data/geodatabases management systems and technical writing.
Experience with address matching and geocoding techniques.
Knowledge of one or more of the following software: Alteryx, FME, MapInfo Professional, ArcGIS, Oracle Spatial, Tableau, Qlik, Jaspersoft, PowerBI, Business Objects, Microstrategy, OBIEE, JSON, GeoJSON, Impala.
Knowledge of one or more of the following data environments: Oracle, Postgres, PostGIS, MS SQL Server, MS Excel.
